S/S 1963 Madame Grès Haute Couture (Attributed) hand-pleated one-shoulder pink and cream silk jersey gown. Extremely rare bi-color Grecian-style drape gown with full skirt and elaborate hand-pleated signature detailing at bust. Built-in corset with boning and concealed side zip closure. Hook-and-eye closure at back strap for ease of try-on. Rare gown as documented in Harper's Bazaar. In very good vintage condition with slight discoloration at pleating consistent with age, faint pen mark at front of chest, and light wear to interior. Corset has been professionally restored by couture tailor.
